Shallal is a small inclusive community based charity that makes dance theatre and related arts accessible to a wide range of people in West Cornwall.

Shallal consists of the Main Dance Theatre Company - a very committed core group which works throughout the year to create a major show annually, with members also performing at smaller community performances, both locally and south west wide - and the community workshops - Open House currently running in Penzance and Redruth, and the Music Access Project (MAP Project) in Penzance. Facilitated by experienced and committed professional artists, these sessions are open to anyone in the community regardless of gender, race, age or physical, mental and emotional status, who would like to learn new skills and gain confidence in dance theatre and music in a physically accessible, socially inclusive environment.
