Dance workshop 10am - 12pm with choreographer Mark Smith. Mark is the founder and artistic director of an all-male dance company called Deaf Men Dancing. He choreographed the Paralympic Opening Ceremony 2012. http://marksmithproduction.com/index.html followed by discussion and then an afternoon to explore inclusive practise funded by Feast, with support from Arts for Health and other local organisations. contact us for more information. 2iis Shallal's new Arts Council funded Research and development project, involving installations and improvisation - exploring pop up performances, will be hosted by Gyllyngdune Gardens Falmouth on Friday 31st May, as part of the Fal River Festival. Shallal consists of the Main Company - a very committed core group which works throughout the year to create a major show annually, with members also performing at smaller community performances, both locally and south west wide. The new Shallal 2 and the community workshops ie. - Open House. Facilitated by experienced and committed professional artists, these sessions are open to anyone in the community regardless of gender, race, age or physical, mental and emotional status, who would like to learn new skills and gain confidence in dance theatre and music in a physically accessible, socially inclusive environment.'
